Programme Content

White is back! We’re beyond excited to bring back the award-winning production White by Catherine Wheels Theatre Company, with a Singapore twist!

Welcome to the world of White, where birdsong fills the air and birdhouses gleam and shine in the night. Two friends care for the birdhouses, ensuring the eggs stay safe. The world is bright, ordered, and white. But high up in the trees, all is not white. Colour begins to appear. First red… then yellow… then blue…

White is a playful, highly visual show designed for very young children and is the perfect introduction to theatre. Catherine Wheels is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed children’s theatre company.

The Artground is thrilled to collaborate with the renowned Catherine Wheels Theatre Company (Scotland) to present the award-winning production White right here in Singapore at The Artground’s WhiteBox. We are excited to continue the White tour, extending its reach to Asia and bringing this beloved production to audiences in Southeast Asia. Featuring Irsyad Dawood, Julius Foo, Tan Beng Tian, and Neo Swee Lin, this incredible cast will breathe new life into this cherished story, infusing their unique talents and experiences into this timeless narrative. Co-directed by Ian Loy, this iteration of the show promises to charm and captivate while staying true to the essence of White that has captured hearts worldwide.
