What We Do

The Artground – A Curious Place To Be is managed and nurtured by The Ground Co Limited, a registered arts charity. We aim to provide positive arts experiences across a variety of art forms for children aged 12 and under in an accessible space that welcomes children from every community.

Our vision to let art do, what art does defines what we do.

Throughout the year, we present interactive visual art spaces that not only allow children to engage in non-directive exploration and practise their motor skills but also to heighten their awareness of aesthetic elements and sense of appreciation.

The Artground also provides tiered levels of access and engagement through our art related programmes, so that families with young children can choose from across a spectrum of drop-in programmes to ticketed programmes. These include performing arts workshops and performances, storytelling sessions, gardening-inspired workshops and art & craft activities; and are offered on the weekends. Our 30 minute drop-in are charged at $10 per parent-child and offered on a come first served basis. We also present and play host to a variety of ticketed programmes where tickets are pre-booked and prices vary.

We hope that The Artground will be a space where families can feel at ease to come to, to spend some time, to discover, to learn and to be curious.
